The history of the Living Stones It began in 2005, when Nicola and Alessandra Guerrini decided to buy a property real estate in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, a few km from Siena, between Chianti and the Crete Senesi, with the intention of transforming it into the family home. A place to raise their three children, Gioele, Gioia and Mattia, and live with grandmother Luciana (Ciana).
Da they immediately set about rebuilding, keeping the original structure unchanged, what apparently it's just a crumbling ruin, transforming the old building into something completely new e creating a welcoming and hospitable place.
And it's It is based precisely on these two fundamental principles their entire activity: family and change!
Started within their own home, their activity has developed over time in various directions: by restaurant, which occupies the ground floor of the building and the large one meadow front; le classes of cooking which take place within the family kitchen; to truffle hunts, organized with expert truffle hunters and their dogs nearby woodsIt has Property.
Year after year, Le Pietre Vive it has become a place increasingly comfortable, dwhere people can feel more welcome guests than customers, e where, above all, everyone can feel truly welcomed and part of the community.
The word that accompanies the work of the Guerrini family, right from the beginning, is in fact: "Do not forget hospitality, because some, by practicing it, have hosted angels without knowing it”(Hebrews 13,2)
Today, with the participation of their children, in a great team effort, Nicola and Alessandra near to keep up with changes and improve every aspect of the services offered, believing strongly in the possibility of always reaching new goals. Helped in all this by the conscious choice of a very young staff, with fresh, enthusiastic personalities and a great desire to learn and grow.
A team that builds relationships and is actually a bit like one gRANDe ffriends!
All together Nicola, Alessandra, Gioele, Gioia, Mattia, grandmother Ciana and their precious collaborators are le Pietre Vive of this building and work continuously and hard to improve the company and the services offered, doing their utmost so that guests can truly reap and appreciate the fruits... and live much more than an experience in the area, but a real growth in the family !

La Farm Le Pietre Vive di Monteaperti is located a few minutes from the city of Siena and is easily reachable by car from the main Italian cities.
Coming from the North, with the A1 motorway, exit at the “Firenze – Impruneta” toll booth, follow the entire road connection (for about 60 km) to Siena and, after passing the various Siena exits, remaining on the same connection, continue towards Arezzo – Perugia (being careful not to turn towards Grosseto). Then, past the two Taverne d'Arbia exits, you exit at “Casetta – Monteaperti”. Continue towards Monteaperti and, after approximately 2 km, you will find the white sign “Monteaperti”, after a few meters turn right following the brown sign “Strada di Monteaperticcio 1” and shortly after the yellow sign “Colle della Battle of Monteaperti”. After approximately 1 km of dirt road you arrive at the Fattoria car park.
Arriving in Siena from the highway coming from Grosseto, continue, always remaining on the ring road, in the direction of Arezzo – Perugia and, past the two Taverne d'Arbia exits, exit at “Casetta – Monteaperti”. Continue towards Monteaperti and after approximately 2 km, you will find the white sign “Monteaperti”, after a few meters turn right following the brown sign “Strada di Monteaperticcio 1” and, shortly after, the yellow sign “Colle of the Battle of Monteaperti”. After approximately 1 km of dirt road you arrive at the Fattoria car park.
Arriving from the South , with the A1 motorway, exit at the “Valdichiana” toll booth, continue towards Siena along the road link from Bettolle to Siena. After passing the Castelnuovo Berardenga exit, remaining on the ring road, you exit at the “Casetta – Monteaperti” exit. Continue towards Monteaperti and after approximately 2 km, you will find the white sign “Monteaperti”, after a few meters turn right following the brown sign “Strada di Monteaperticcio 1” and shortly after the yellow sign “Colle della Battaglia of Monteaperti”. After approximately 1 km of dirt road you arrive at the Fattoria car park.
